Position Summary:
We are seeking an experience welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience using MIG welding equipment to produce finished products while maintaining high quality welds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to setup and weld various materials (14ga to 1/2 plate) producing high quality parts in a production environment.
- Create horizontal, flat, and overhead welds.
- Read and follow production paperwork and associated drawings.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
- Operate a forklift as needed.
- Understand and follow oral and written directions
- Track jobs using computer systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of welding experience or equivalent education.
- Ability to read and interpret weldment prints, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
- Read a tape measure and understand fractional to decimal conversions.
- Comfortable using computers and software.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
